The RB motor is probably Nissans best motor ever. Not common in the US but those of us that rely on JAP imports for our speed fix would disagree with your statement that it's nothing special. Not too hard to get up to 1,000 rwhp at the top end of mods. There are lots of 500+ streeters here in NZ, built at probably half the cost of an equivalent VG engine.
Nothing special ... lets see ... fit the Gieken 10,000 rpm kit ... wind it up to the rev limit with the line lock on til all four tyres are smoking then let it loose .... nothing special ... na ... just your every day ride really
